Current Events

Sadly, On Saturday December 24th,2011 The Good Lord seen fit to call our Brother, Past Master Martin Whitaker Jr. to Glory. Funeral Service will be held at St. Marks Lutheran Church, Broad & Chelten, Friday December 30th,2011. Viewing 8:00-9:30 AM. Christian service starts at 10:00 AM.

Also Past Master Lloyd N. Johnson house caught fire on Saturday Dec. 24th,2011. Please keep them and their families in your prayers.

On Monday November 21st, The Home Going Service

was held at St. Mathews AME Church for MWPGM Robert Newman Davis. The Funeral Team led by Worshipful Master Tyrone M. Smalls did a tremendous job with the Masonic Service.

On Sunday November 21st, 2010, the Most Worshipful Grand Master of The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The Honorable Leonard A Heard #147, visited John S Watson Lodge#23 and dicussed his Proclaimation and upcoming plans to during his visit. The MWGM also took time out from his very hectic and busy schedule to appoint our very own PM Wayne W R Howard as the New Worshipful Grand Lecturer and to appoint our very own PM Eric Williams as Worshipful District Lecturer. John S Watson #23 is indeed very proud to have two Grand Lodge Officers from our Lodge, and we know that they are indeed truly worthy of this honor and will continue to do their very best to serve this Grand Body.
